Am 1. Juni 1964 eröffnete Adelbert Weiss ein Spenglerei- und Sanitärgeschäft, nachdem er im Elternhaus in Obersulz, Hauptstrasse 130 eine Werkstatt eingerichtet hatte. Im Jahr 1968 baute er im Langacher in Rheinsulz ein Wohnhaus mit grosszügiger Werkstatt und Büro. Während dieser Jahre waren stetig zwischen 3 und 6 Mitarbeitern angestellt, zudem wurden auch Lehrlinge ausgebildet.
