The CECB diagnosis is the official energy certificate for buildings at the cantonal level in Switzerland. Buildings are divided into 7 classes (from A to G) depending on the efficiency of the technical installations of the buildings (like the heating system). The CECB diagnosis is based on a unified calculation method. The same criteria and values apply throughout the whole country of Switzerland. This allows to compare buildings for several purposes, including sale, purchase, evaluation, or renovation planning.
